Author

Tyla Cassidy-Raghunath is the author of Treasure and Blood and this is her very first novel.
She is a true South London girl and is very proud of her bi-racial parentage being an interesting mix of Scottish/South American.
Tyla was educated at Goldsmiths College, University of London and it was as a student here that her interest in Piracy and Nautical history was nurtured. She often frequented the Greenwich Naval Museum, researching the Golden Age of Piracy and her fascination with the Sons of the Black Flag has been a constant in her life!
Tyla is very well travelled and is very interested in other cultures and alternative ways of life. When she is not writing she enjoys cinema, theatre and music and she is a firm believer in philanthropy and integrity!
She has worked for many years as an English teacher and has always encouraged her students to open their minds to imagination and freedom of expression. Tyla hopes that this philosophy is reflected in her Literary work and that readers enjoy her first Pirate Novel!.
